An update on the N80 Firmware

For those of you who have been experiencing a lot of problems with the 4.0707.0.7 firmware of the N80, well there’s good news. Nokia has released a new firmware version for the Nokia N80. Then new firmware is version 5.0719.0.2

I’ve updated my phone and I’ve noticed some increase in speed. I’ve also noticed that the web browser is more stable because now it’s not suddenly exiting. The photo gallery has also improved in terms of speed by I still experience an “out of memory” error whenever I try to zoom in a picture beyond 50%.

It seems that the Nokia N80 firmware version v5.0719.0.2 is a lot more stable than it’s predecessor v4.0707.0.7 but the firmware doesn’t contain any new features. My wish list and probably all of you N80 users out there includes A2DP support and a better MP3 player. :-)
