Mobile version of YouTube officially launched

 
 

The mobile version of YouTube has been officially launched today by Google. You will now be able to view, upload and share your videos while using your cell phone.

You can now access the millions of videos that are normally available at www.youtube.com from your mobile phone by browsing to the url http://m.youtube.com. Most of the features available on the classic version of YouTube is available on the mobile phone including the ability to login to your account, upload videos and rate videos.

The videos you upload from your mobile phone will appear within moments on both the mobile (m.youtube.com) and classic (www.youtube.com) YouTube web sites.

To view the videos, your mobile phone should support RTSP streaming and your telco service provider should allow video streaming on the network.

You can start experience YouTube for Mobile at http://m.youtube.com.
