Tecore announces the iCore MVNO Gateway
Tecore, a leading provider of multi-technology mobile networks for emerging operators and rapid deployments, today announced the iCore MVNO Gateway. An integrated service platform purpose-built to meet the requirements of today’s Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO/E).
The most successful MVNO/E entrants have moved beyond providing “me too” communications to delivery of unique products and services tailored to individual market segments. The iCore MVNO Gateway serves this target market by integrating the most popular functions and applications on a carrier-grade architecture.
- A fully integrated core platform including Gateway MSC and HLR (with Milenage support)
- An integrated IN prepaid service capability, highly sophisticated and configurable, with features such as top-up card generation, real-time prepaid processing, and hot billing
- A USSD callback server to enable an IN alternative for MVNO control of call processing for roaming subscribers
- Multi-IMSI support, facilitating multiple IMSI profiles that allow the identity of the mobile to adjust based on the serving network
- TDM and IP routing to enable cost-effective traffic management
The iCore MVNO Gateway is the first Tecore platform built on the next generation MicroTCA architecture. The system provides carrier-grade reliability and performance in the industry’s most compact architecture.
“Tecore has enabled MVNO/Es since the inception of that industry. Our product line has followed the evolution in our customers’ business models and requirements,” said Casey Joseph, Chief Technology Officer, Tecore Networks. “The iCore MVNO Gateway is the direct result of listening to these needs: a compact, scaleable yet fully featured and highly reliable
service set which will drive a new level of innovative offerings for subscribers.”
