Safari web browser from Apple available for Windows

Apple’s Safari web browser is now available for download at the Apple Safari web site. I downloaded the web browser, which is currently undergoing beta, and gave it a spin.

First thing you’ll notice will be the speed at which the Safari web browser renders the web pages. Apple’s claim of a faster web browser than the ones currently available (Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer) is true. The web browser is indeed very fast notwithstanding the fact that it is still in beta.

Other features include tab browsing, built-in RSS, better bookmarking features, forms auto-fill, inline find, pop-up blocking and a whole lot more.

Albeit the other features, the speed increase alone compared to the other web browsers makes the Safari worth your while to check it out. Looks like Firefox will have a competitor on its doorstep as soon as the Safari browser gets into production.
