Guitar Hero meets World of Warcraft

The shareholders of Activision has approved the pending merger of Activision and Vivendi (parent company of Blizzard). Under the merger Vivendi becomes a subsidiary of Activision.

With all that capital under one roof, I sure hope that it will continue on creating great games like World of Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, Guitar Hero, Call of Duty and of course let’s not forget Quake.

With all the technology being pumped into mobile devices these days, I sure wouldn’t mind seeing mobile versions of these games to start appearing. It would be nice to have the GPU power of at least a PS2 to start making its way into a mobile phone as large as an Apple iPhone. :-)

Well, there’s no harming in wishing, I’ve put a copy of the Activision and Vivendi Games merger press release at www.javamidlet.com.
