Nokia mobile phones will now have Google Search
If you are a Nokia mobile phone user like me, you have probably noticed that up to now there are only two Internet search options available. Well that is now going to change. Nokia has forged an agreement with Google to add Google Search on Nokia cell phones.
The Nokia N96 mobile phone announced
Nokia today unveiled the Nokia N96 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The N96 is a multimedia computer geared for both video and TV and has the newest technology that addresses the convergence of the Internet and the mobile world.
Nokia launches Mobile Advertising Network
Aside from it’s announcement of the Nokia N96 and Nokia N78 mobile phones, Nokia today launches at the Mobile World Congress a mobile advertising network called the Nokia Media Network. Nokia Media Network members include AccuWeather, Discovery, Hearst, Reuters, and Sprint among the 70 strong publishers and operators.
Windows Mobile coming soon on Sony Ericsson mobile phones
It has been announced at the Mobile World Congress 2008 that Sony Ericsson will deliver a new Windows Mobile phone based on the Windows Mobile platform from Microsoft.

Yup, Trolltech the company who is responsible for the QT library that serves as the foundation of the KDE graphical user interface found in Linux distributions like Ubuntu, RedHat, OpenSuse, Debian and others.
Text Message of the Day via QRCode
I’ve managed to do some updates here at txtu.com. Besides tweaking the layout, I’ve activated my “Text Message of the Day” (TMOTD) feature on the sidebar. The TMOTD is randomly generated everytime a person visits txtu.com.
Along side the “Text Message of the Day” is a 2D barcode that you can scan using your mobile phone’s camera. It beats the hell out of having to type in the text you want to send as an SMS on your cell phone.
If you don’t have a 2D barcode software installed on your mobile phone and you own a Nokia or Windows Mobile cell phone, you can download the free software from Quickmark. You can find the instructions and link on the SMS page.
